For the person who, in the opinion of the MWG committe, has done the most to help the group in 2008.
This person set up and ran the most popular and talked about social ride in 2008. From devising the route, agreeing with landowners, creating a new venue and sending out an amazing amount of advertising to providing paper, pens and clipboards for officials - everything was covered. We had practise vetting for beginners,, with pretend vets much appreciated by new riders. There was a gazebo for shelter on what must have been the only hot day in 2008! There was catering laid on for much needed tea and sticky cake - we are MWG after all! Please can we have more of the same in 2009 - with all our thanks from the riders and committee

Veronica Lott Memorial Trophy...
For the rider and horse who have successfully completed the most number of rides in GB - in any class from social ride to ER, who has not won any other trophy. The object of this trophy is to reward the idea that 'to complete is to win.'
